The Dashcore Method

The Dashcore method is based on the principles of the 5 “I”s.

The programs are:

Integrated

Informative

Ignitable

Increase Independence

I design all programs to be integrated in nature. This is also one of the core principles of the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). This means that training will target all pillars of fitness- strength training, flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, and balance. I take it one step further and integrate different techniques from various sports and activities such as yoga, Pilates, martial arts, skating, and biking.

Training under the Dashcore method means that you will be well-informed. I strongly believe that it is integral to understand the why behind the training. This relates to understanding muscle groups, human kinesiology, and practical applications of each movement. Being well-informed helps increase motivation and adherence to exercise programs.

Ignitable means that the programs are designed to ignite a passion inside you for fitness, no matter what your goals are, that will carry-on long after you are done with your training program. “Fit to the core” refers to more than your physical core, but also your mental core- Dashcore will change your whole mind frame when it comes to physical health and wellness.

Finally, Dashcore programs are designed to promote increased independence in fitness. Like a dating app, Dashcore personal training programs are created to for you to eventually no longer require them. Some might say it’s a bad business model but I strongly believes that what is in the best interest of the client is also in the best interest of the trainer. My ultimate goal is for my clients to maintain and work towards new fitness goals independently because that’s what I prepare them to do!
